Known as an iconic trumpeter, Herb Alpert traced his beginnings in Los Angeles as he became a trumpet enthusiast at the age of 8. Then with his band Tijuana Brass, Herb Alpert produced countless hit songs making him bagged several awards including the inductee of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the National Medal of Arts Award presented by former President Barack Obama as a recognition for his unwavering contribution to music and arts. Herb Alpert also won nine Grammy Awards and 14 platinum records in his career that made him one of the best musicians of this generation.
Lani Hall is the voice behind the female vocal signature of the iconic band Brasil ‘66 led by the Brazilian musician Sergio Mendes. With his music incorporated by jazz, latin, and pop, Lani Hall made her name releasing his first solo album Sun Down Lady in 1972. She also bagged two Grammy Awards for Es Facil Amar as Best Latin PErformance and Steppin’ Out as Best Pop Instrumental Album. In 1973, she married Herb Alpert and they released multiple albums together.
