Before becoming one of R&B and Soul's biggest names Kimberly Michelle Pate aka K. Michelle, released a single in 2009 entitled "Fakin It" with Missy Elliot. The single was modestly successful, but it signified that she was an upcoming artist with the talent to dominate the two genres. When she appeared in the first two seasons of the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, it became apparent that she was someone to look forward to.
In 2013, K. Michelle released her debut album "Rebellious Soul," which debuted at the second spot on the Billboard 200 and peaked at the top spot of the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. This was followed by her second album, "Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?" released in 2014. Upon its release, the album peaked at number eight and six on different charts. This album produced three hit singles, which are "Love 'Em All," "Maybe I Should Call," and "Hard to Do." Her subsequent albums were successful as well. Michelle's third studio album, "More Issues Than Vogue," was released in 2016 to good critiques. "Kimberly: The People I Used to Know," her fourth studio album, was released in 2017 and debuted in the top ten of Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. "All Monsters Are Human," her fifth studio album, was released in 2020 with charting singles like "Supahood" and "The Rain." His latest album, "I'm the Problem," will be coming out this year. With its top R&B charting single "Scooch" already released, this album is going to be a fun eargasm.
On her "I'm the Problem" Tour, the R&B/Soul household artist will be visiting many cities nationwide. One of her stops will be at the Majestic Theatre Dallas on Friday, March 24. Catch her live!
