In the early nineties, Luenell starred regularly on Soul Beat TV on the Oakland, California cable station KSBT, alongside the famous Bay Area African-American journalist Chauncey Bailey, as an entertaining interviewer and talk show host on the program. Luenell is the go-to for world class entertainment. She was even one of the hired actors in the 2006 smash hit mockumentary comedy movie Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. "The Original Bad Girl of Comedy" is also known for blockbuster movies including the likes of 1996’s The Rock, 2012’s That's My Boy and 2018’s A Star Is Born.
